Hi and welcome to my blog. My name is Linda Taylor-Ricci of Ricci Designs.
If you found me by accident, great! If you found me on purpose, even better!!
To Blog or Not to Blog….This the question I have asked myself over the past three months as I prepared my website to launch. I’ve got to tell you that I was (am) intimidated by the prospect. I dismissed the idea so many times but like a moth to a flame, I became obsessed with the idea. So to make a very long story shorter, I read up on anything I could find about creating interesting blogs and here I am.
I have always been blessed (cursed) with creativity. My mind never slows down, ugggh!
I’m a gardener, seamstress, quilt maker, cross stitcher, interior designer, wood worker, mother, grandmother, avid reader, full time Business Development Director for a multi media company called D3, teacher at JewelryLessons.com and jewelry maker (ya, I get tired). I constantly wonder what else I could do if I never had to sleep :)
I wanted to use my first blog (ever) to introduce myself to you. I live in Massachusetts with my wonderful husband Luigi and our best friend (dog) Maya. I have three children, two step children, two grand children and my last child is a senior at Lasell College for fashion design.
I have always had a fascination with wire. Many years ago, I would make trinkets with old wire from my husband’s tool bucket. Today I create jewelry with sterling, copper, bronze and nickel silver wire. I am in love with each and every stone I use in my jewelry and they come from all over the world.
In my next blog, I’m going to share a special project with you that is a bit unusual. I’m creating a “tickler” file with a lot of great ideas that I’m excited to share with you.
